Only 3 more days until my wife comes home... hooray! While my wife is back in Florida eating some good healthy American food I have had to find ways to occupy my time. Just a quick sidenote... Seriously Americans are very blessed! Where else in the world can you go where at two a.m. you can either get your "fourth meal" from Taco Bell or an iced coffee the size of a big gulp from Dunkin Donuts with a boston creme? I cant wait to come home and eat. One thing I have been able to do a little more of than usual is surfing. Last Friday a few of us guys had a great slumber party and then got up at the crack of dawn to go surfing. Seriously though... if any of you ever have to get up at 5:30 in the morning I feel your pain. If you are up before the sun rises than you are up way to early... Well it was a good morning to say the least. However, I would trade all my times surfing for my wife to be here with me.

Ok... So I am by myself here in Australia. I have come to find out that Australia is a very lonely place without my wife! I miss her like crazy... I used to think that I was pretty independent... I no longer hold that view of myself... I am needy! Lets just say that I really miss my wife! Lindsey is back in the states for two weeks for a friends wedding and I am holding down the fort back here. Here is a really powerful quote I came across... hope you like it... let me know your thoughts....

"Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness, that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, "Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, and fabulous?" Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We were born to manifest the glory of God that is within us...And as we let our own light shine, we unconciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others." (Nelson Mandela)
